Q: What is the difference between the Green Program and the Green
Program Plus+?
A: The Green Program is 100% pesticide free and is designed to promote
healthy lawn growth. Chem-Wise will not apply herbicides or pesticides. Weed
and insect control is left to the discretion of the homeowner.
The Green Program Plus+ is a full service program that includes everything
outlined in the Green Program but also includes weed control. Herbicides and
pesticides are carefully applied in small amounts to eliminate weeds and
insects, greatly enhancing the appearance of your lawn. Grubs and other
insects can be treated for an additional charge.
Q: Are the materials used in the Green Program Plus+ harmful to my
children or pets?
A: Chem-Wise strives to use the safest materials available and all are
approved by the Environmental Protection Agency. Our application methods are
designed with you and your family in mind.
Q: I have a vegetable garden in my back yard and flowerbeds in my
front are any of the materials used harmful to them?
A: No matter which program you choose, flowerbeds and vegetable/fruit
gardens will not be treated with any materials. Although herbicides and
pesticides may be used in the Green Program Plus+, great care is given to
our application methods.
Q: If I opt to purchase Grub and Insect Control will it also take
care of the mosquitoes?
A: Targeted insects include Grubs, Ants and other insects that will cause
damage to your lawn. Our lawn care programs will not control the mosquitoes
in your yard, however, Chem-Wise offers a separate program for mosquito
control. Call our office for details!
Q: Do I need to purchase all 5 applications?
A:Yes! The key to a lush, green lawn is the use of slow release materials on
a scheduled basis. Each visit is specifically designed to provide your lawn
with the right amount of nutrients at the right time. Skipping visits will
dramatically affect your results.
Q: Why do I need an application in the late fall?
A: The Late Fall application is essential to a beautiful lawn. It provides
the proper materials to the soil that will promote healthy root growth and
prepare it for the winter. Your lawn is an investment and should be
winterized just like any other asset to your home.
Q: I have a scheduled treatment tomorrow, what should I do to
prepare my yard?
A: A good rule of thumb... all movable items such as toys, pet bowls, and
lawn furniture should be removed from the lawn. Once a program is purchased
you will receive an information packet that will proved detailed
instructions for yard preparation and what to expect.
Q: Will Chem-Wise mow my lawn also?
A: Our main focus is to promote and maintain the healthy growth of your
lawn. We'll leave the manicuring and landscaping to you!
