Pill Bug Control in Chicagoland
Guaranteed pill bug removal for Chicago basements, garden beds, and businesses — one-hour appointment windows and family-safe exterior treatments from certified local technicians.
Pill bugs — the small, armored crawlers that roll into a ball when disturbed — are usually harmless outdoors, but a large population living in mulch or under leaf litter right against a Chicago foundation can move indoors by the dozens after a heavy rain. Chem-Wise Pest Control has treated moisture-driven pests across Chicagoland since 1993, and with offices in Aurora, Berwyn, and Elk Grove Village, full-time certified technicians reach Chicago neighborhoods in a convenient one-hour appointment window, six days a week. A live, local representative can quote your treatment for free by phone and get you scheduled the same call.
Pill bugs, sometimes called roly-polies, are actually land-dwelling crustaceans that breathe through gills and need consistently damp conditions to survive — which is exactly what mulch beds, compost piles, and leaf litter against a foundation provide. They don't bite, sting, or damage structures, but indoor populations signal a moisture problem at the foundation that's worth addressing. Chem-Wise technicians treat the moist harborage areas and entry points driving the population, using environmentally friendly materials applied with methods safe for children and pets. Every residential pest control treatment is backed by a guarantee.
Pill Bug Control for Chicago and Surrounding Suburbs
Chicago
Chicago's mulched parkways and shaded courtyards hold the consistent moisture pill bugs need close to foundations. Chem-Wise technicians treat this perimeter directly to reduce indoor migration.
Naperville
Naperville's heavily mulched garden beds and irrigated landscaping create ideal pill bug habitat next to the house. Chem-Wise treats the foundation line before populations move indoors.
Aurora
With a Chem-Wise office located in Aurora, technicians respond quickly to local pill bug calls, especially after rainy stretches when indoor sightings increase.
Joliet
Joliet businesses with landscaped entrances and mulched planting beds call Chem-Wise when pill bugs cluster near doorways; the commercial services team treats commercial properties with the same treatment guarantees offered to homeowners.
Schaumburg
Schaumburg's office parks and adjacent subdivisions with heavy mulch use see recurring pill bug pressure. Technicians pair perimeter treatment with moisture-reduction recommendations.
